LOKI & ANGRBODA A4 Art Print

€12.00

Gorgeous A4 sized (9" x 12" // 210mm x 297mm) art print of Loki and Angrboða, the jötunn with whom he had his three infamous children: The ruler of the dead Hel, the wolf Fenrir and the Midgard serpent Jörmungand. Angrboða is also referred to as the lady of the Ironwoods and even though not much is known about her I see her as a tough and earthbound deity that has a no-bullshit-approach to life and therefore harmonizes very well with the force I know as Loki.

Loki is popularly referred to as a god of fire and for me he is the personification of change (not only because he is a shapeshifter). Angrboða’s and Loki’s relationship is a very potent topic to explore and meditate upon in my opinion, not only because the interesting themes that surround it (like fire, nature and death), but also because their union will eventually lead to Ragnarök and the ending and eventual renewal of the world.

This art print can be put up on the wall or thanks to its sturdy material be repurposed as a postcard.

The illustration is printed with lush colors on a satin-soft touch surface. The backside can be written on and is blank except for a small logo illustration.
